This is an elective course in which students will serve as language tutors to ESL students. ESL tutors assist in the preparation and delivery of small group instruction, provide ESL accommodations as appropriate, create manipulatives and other instructional activities aligned to students’ proficiency level. ### Middle School Special Education Courses are designed to meet the individual learning needs of students with disabilities who have an Individual Education Program.  These courses promote academic and functional skill development, and support progress toward the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) or Virginia Essentialized Standards of Learning (VESOL).
