Linganore High – Hospitality Management

Students are trained as hospitality professionals in a variety of areas such as tourism, lodging, food and beverage, and event planning. Students have the opportunity to earn Certified Guest Services Professional certification from the American Hotel and Lodging Institute. Capstone projects will allow students to apply what they learned. Upon completion, students may choose to participate in a capstone internship experience. Dual Enrollment option is available. # CULTURES AND CUISINE This course approaches food by studying the diversities and commonalities of cultures, history, geographies and people. In this course, students gain confidence in culinary skills through the selection and preparation of healthy foods from their own and other cultures.
