Linganore High – Engine and Power Technology 2

Prerequisite: Engine and Power Technology 1. This one-semester course provides students with skills in the operation and service of small and large engines and electric motors. It follows the Engine and Power Technology 1 course. The majority of instruction is in the agricultural mechanics laboratory. Engine troubleshooting and failure analysis, hydraulics, oxy-acetylene cutting and welding, as well as shielded metal arc welding and gas metal arc welding, are covered. This course satisfies one of three credits for the Agriculture Mechanics Completer Program.
