Students enrolled in Aerospace Design I demonstrate knowledgeand skills associated with the design evolution and emergingtrends of aircraft and aerospace systems. Fundamental conceptssuch as forces of flight, structures, aerodynamics, propulsion,stability and control, and orbital mechanics are introduced asrelated to design decisions for atmospheric and space flight.These concepts are related to mission requirements and solutionapproaches.
