Students examine different aspects of both traditional and contemporary issues faced by Native American Tribes in the U.S. as well as other Indigenous groups around the globe. Students explore the relationship between Native American Tribes and the U.S. government and look at modern issues faced by Indigenous people such as relocation, educational assimilation, and issues of sovereignty.
