Leodis V. McDaniel High School – Art Capstone

Students will propose, explore, create, and present a long-term action-research project. This project is designed for each student to bring their voice and aesthetic to the forefront, exhibiting the best of what they have learned while expanding their learning. The culmination will include a visual artifact such as a website, perfect book, portfolio, etc…, a presentation to industry professionals, and an exhibit. Students will participate in a minimum of one work based learning experience. Students will exit this course with the ability to produce work, market, and make connections to their career goals.
