Legend High School – Independent Living Skills

This course is for students in Special Education and will be a combination of independent living skills and social skills. Course is specifically designed for students with Significant Support Needs in Life Skills classes. Based on individual needs, students will work on basic life skills necessary for adult living and responsible citizenship including self-care, hygiene, safety in the home and community, kitchen skills, shopping, activities supporting future employment possibilities and daily living skills. This class could satisfy graduation requirements for social studies and science.
