Legend High School – Guitar II

Guitar II is for the intermediate to advanced student seeking the opportunity to perform in front of an audience. Introductory lead guitar technique will be a focus in this course as well as ensemble work. You must be comfortable performing individually and in groups. Students new to Guitar II do not have to perform in front of others until they are comfortable. You must have basic knowledge of guitar theory, rhythm techniques, and know the basic major and minor scales. Rhythm, Lead, and Bass players are encouraged to take this course. Any type of guitar may be used as well as other string instruments such as ukulele.
Prerequisites: Any of the following: Guitar I completion, # years of experience, & teacher approval
