If you have ever wondered what it is like to work in a business office or thought about office management and organizational opportunities then you should enroll in this course. Students will obtain developmental skills in telephone techniques, business etiquette, filing and retrieving documents; managing all aspects of correspondence and petty cash control. Students will also learn the importance of teamwork and how to complete electronic functions including calculations. Students will also gain technology application skills with word processing, spreadsheets, presentations and desktop publishing software.
