Lee V. Pollard High – Career Awareness

The focus of this class is to help students learn pre-emplyment skills, communication skills, transferrable basic academic skills, and employment skills. In addition, students will be able to explore careers through research, tours, and guest speakers. The curriculum has been developed froma combination of that taught in teh Transition Partnership Program Jobs class and the former Pathways Program,as well as the Career Cruising program. The goal is to help students to be hirable and be able to make informed, critical decisions about their post-secondary options.
