one This course will prepare students to pass the ASE test in Electricity and Electronics (A6). Students will become familiar with general electrical diagnosis and repair, battery diagnosis and repair, starting system diagnosis and repair, charging system diagnosis and repair, lighting system diagnosis and repair, gauge/driver information system diagnosis and repair, horn and wiper system diagnosis and repair, and electrical accessory diagnosis and repair. Students completing this course with a "C" or better should be prepared to obtain entry-level employment in electrical system diagnosis and repair. Safety, proper tool usage, environmental responsibility and career exploration will be emphasized in this course.
Prerequisites: "C" or better in Auto 2A-2B or instructor approval
