This course is an introduction to basic 3D Computer Animation, major software components, basic concepts of object-oriented programming as well as 2D and 3D design. The purpose of the course is to develop both the awareness and appreciation for the art of animation while incorporating technical and computer skills to produce 2 Dimensional and 3 Dimensional designs. The students will incorporate the artistic background of storyboarding, color, texture, and design/animation theory with technical computer skills, including the Internet, multi-media, video incorporation, file management, as well as other hardware and software considerations. Prerequisites: Visual Arts 1A-1B or Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) 1A-1B or Computer Science or instructor approval
