This course is designed to increase the students' understanding of what they have learned from their formal schooling. An understanding of how we acquire knowledge will serve as the course focus. The course will lead students to reflect on what they have learned and how the major areas of knowledge support and reinforce future acquisition of knowledge. Where appropriate, new concepts will be introduced to help tie various subject areas together. Students are encouraged to use subject area knowledge to promote racial, cultural, and intellectual tolerance. Students learn to engage in intellectual discussion and understand viewpoints different from their own. This course is a requirement for all students pursuing an IB diploma.
Prerequisites: Arts Honors or teacher referral is strongly recommended
