This course is designed to prepare students to live "on their own" after leaving school. Emphasis is on decision making as it relates to single living and consumer issues. Studies will include the process of renting, securing a job, establishing a budget, and obtaining credit. The course includes personal relations, marriage and family living. Credit will be earned from written assignments, class participation, tests, and out-of-class projects.
Prerequisites: Signed parent permission
