Careers in animation span all aspects of the arts, audio/video technology, and communications industry. Building upon the concepts taught in Animation I & II and its corequisite Animation II Lab, students will be expected to develop an increasing understanding of the industry with a focus on applying pre-production, production, and post-production animation and motion graphics in a professional environment. Instruction may be delivered through lab-based classroom experiences or career preparation opportunities. Students will develop an electronic portfolio to document their mastery. ● A single credit option is available in cases where there are scheduling conflicts. ● Students may engage in off-campus work-based learning experiences and work with the instructor to arrange logistics.
