Naval Science IV is the culmination of the Naval Science Program. Leadership is the primary emphasis in Naval Science IV. Students will pursue a rigorous course of study in leadership techniques, effective communications, and group dynamics. The course will include reading, writing, and practical exercises. CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION Leander ISD offers a variety of CTE Programs of Study across eleven career clusters at all high school campuses. Due to specialized facility requirements, student interest/enrollment and instructor availability, not all CTE Programs of Study are offered on all campuses. Please see the CTE Program of Study Guidebook for more information. Students generally enroll in programs not offered on their home campus in one of two ways: 1) transfer completely, 2) complete one day on the home campus and the other day on the program campus. Students who wish to transfer (option #1) must go through the district transfer process. Please note that specific high school campus moratoria on transfers into a campus supersedes option #1. For students who wish to remain enrolled at their home campus (option #2) enrollment is not guaranteed and will be determined based on campus program availability and capacity. If a student opts to enroll in a program located at a different campus other than their home campus, they are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from that campus. Participation in programs not on a student’s home campus requires special scheduling and commitment on the part of parents, students, teachers and school counselors.
