Automotive Technology I prepares students with knowledge of the major automotive systems and the principles of diagnosing and servicing these systems. This course includes applicable safety and environmental rules and regulations. Students will gain knowledge and skills in the repair, maintenance, and diagnosis of vehicle systems. This study will allow students to reinforce, apply, and transfer academic knowledge and skills to a variety of interesting and relevant activities, problems, and settings. The curriculum is a modular, competency-based program that enables students to earn an industry recognized certification. ● There may be costs associated with taking this course. ● Safety and Industry-Based Certifications available.
