This course will serve as the foundational course inthe Audio & Video Technology & Film pathway.The course prepares students for employment orentry into a postsecondary education program in theaudio and video technology career field. Topicscovered may include, but are not limited to:terminology, safety, basic equipment, script writing,production teams, production and programming,lighting, recording and editing, studio production,and professional ethics. Skills USA, the GeorgiaScholastic Press Association, Technology StudentAssociation (TSA) and Student Television Networkare examples of, but not limited to, appropriateorganizations for providing leadership trainingand/or for reinforcing specific career and technicalskills and may be considered an integral part of theinstructional program. All material covered inAudio & Video Technology & Film I will beutilized in subsequent courses.
