Lake Washington High School – Floral Design & Production

Floral Design & Production is a hands-on semester course that introduces students to the art and science of creating floral art. This course will cover principles of design using flowers and greenery, flower production in the Pacific Northwest, importance of flowers to the agricultural industry, and small business management through a floral industry lens. Students will create arrangements using wholesale cut flowers, build a floral art portfolio, and bring these arrangements home to display.
