Lake Washington High School – Broadcast Communications

Broadcast Communications focuses on journalistic writing and videography for broadcast. This course teaches the fundamentals of creatively and effectively communicating written and visual stories through the lens of various social and digital media tools. Students will engage in journalistic writing, research and ethical media practices and then publish these stories in current and emerging technologies. Students will be expected to work on projects outside of the classroom; including coverage at community or student events and activities.
