Lake Washington High School – World Drumming

This course explores the cultural rhythms of the world through ensemble drumming. Students will learn a variety of hand drumming techniques and to play several small hand percussion instruments. This class will focus on communication through drumming, teamwork, active listening, ensemble playing, and the concept of learning through oral traditions.
