This advanced art and design class emphasizes applied design, advanced illustration techniques, and essential digital skills. Students will enhance their proficiency in software like Illustrator, Photoshop, and Fusion 360, using Wacom tablets, Ultimaker S7 3D printers, color and wide-format printers, and DSLR cameras in a computer lab. In addition to mastering traditional media, students will engage in self-paced, self-directed learning, allowing them to explore their creativity at their own tempo. The curriculum includes hands-on projects such as surface pattern design, texture design, and concept illustration, all aimed at creating a comprehensive design portfolio. Additional Information: Students will collaborate on school-wide projects with peers, teachers, and clubs, gaining real-world experience and building a supportive network. This interactive course combines technical skill development with practical applications, preparing students to succeed in the evolving art market with market-ready design products.
