This course introduces students to the concepts needed to understand the fundamentals of what money is, how to earn it, what you can do with it, and how to plan to have more in the future. Topics include: Cost-Benefit Analysis, Earning Income, Local State and Federal Taxes, Banking and Financial Services, Managing a Bank Account, Savings Investment and Planning for Retirement, Understanding Interest and Debt, and more. This course fulfills the High School Graduation Requirement for 0.5 Personal Fitness.
