Lake Brantley High School – Leadership Techniques Honors

This course provides an in-depth study of the leadership techniques of decision-making, problem-solving, meeting skills, communication, group conflict reduction, time and stress management, evaluation, team building, group dynamics, motivational strategy, data collection for project needs, evaluation of community organizations, the purpose of local government, and the role of leadership in a democratic society. Project-based activities are integral to this course and shall include practical application of the concepts involved. Some after-school requirements may be required to enhance practical learning.
Prerequisites: Successful Completion of Leadership Skills Development (#2400300), Application Process in Spring, and Student Government Association Advisor Approval Required. Minimum GPA of 3.0.
