Statewide Dual Credit Psychology is a full year college-level course. The purpose of this course is to define psychology and differentiate it from other similar disciplines. The topics covered in this course are research, brain physiology and function, human development, sensation and perception, memory, consciousness, cognition and intelligence, sexuality, psychological disorders, therapy/treatment, social psychology, motivation and emotion, health psychology, learning, and personality. Elective. All students enrolled in a Statewide Dual Credit course are re- quired to take the online challenge exam.
