Kennesaw Mountain High School – Individual and the Law

Individual and the Law concentrates on constitutional and criminal law including the constitutional amendments, student constitutional rights (rights retained in school and those forfeited), and various aspects of criminal law. The course also reflects the vast topic of civil law including family law, rights in the workplace, housing, torts, consumer rights, and more. Students take appropriate law-related field trips, conduct a mock trial, and have a number of guest speakers who are directly involved in law including judges, attorneys, mediators, and probation officer.
