Johns Creek High School – Intermediate Treble Chorus I, II, III, IV (Cantus)

Cantus is open to soprano and alto singers with prior chorus enrollment at the 6–8 grade level. This course is primarily for incoming freshmen, students returning to the chorus program, and upperclassmen. It continues middle school choral study, focusing on advanced rhythm and pitch reading, sight-reading development, and refined vocal technique. Students must match pitch and demonstrate strong rehearsal and performance skills. May be repeated for credit with director’s permission. Students may audition for Advanced Chorus (Camerata) after one year of participation.
