Students in German DE study selected AP global themes and topics using more sophisticated communication in German at an intermediate-mid-level in all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Emphasis is placed on the abilities to interact, persuade, compare, and contrast both orally and in writing. Students study literary works as well as current and historical events representing the various geographical regions of the world where German is spoken.
