Students can take this course to continue applying what they learned in Sheet metal and make their own projects. Sheet metal courses expose students to the skills and information necessary to lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, maintain, and repair items and structures created from sheet metal components. Students will learn the safe and efficient operation of various tools, and typically gain skills in blueprint reading, and finishing and polishing metals. Introduction to different trade careers will be accomplished through guest lectures, industry partnerships and field trips. We are working to align this course to APR101, Trade Skills Fundamentals.
Prerequisites: Sheet Metal Intro and instructor approval.
