Jefferson High School – Improvisation

Students in this class will learn a wide variety of improvisational games, similar to those played by professional improvisation groups. All students should expect to be on stage and performing for their peers. The grade for this class will be based on participation. Students will learn the basic rules of comic improvisation, such as always saying yes, sharing the stage, sensing your audience, and hopefully developing a sense of comic timing. The final for the class will involve a public performance which will be called Improv Night at JHS.
