Jefferson High School – Athletic Training & Conditioning

This is an elective course that requires great effort from the students that are involved in this class. It is designed to introduce or enhance the proper form of weight lifting to improve several components of fitness, such as muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular fitness and flexibility. It will teach the importance of warm-ups, proper lifting technique, the importance of spotting, and cool down to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Dressing down and participation on a daily basis is a requirement for this class as well as keeping a log of your progress.
