The Construction Technology I DL course will be instructed inSpanish. It emphasizes an integrative approach to the teaching InConstruction Technology I. Students will gain knowledge and skillsneeded to enter the workforce as carpenters or buildingmaintenance supervisors or to prepare for a postsecondarydegree in construction management, architecture, orengineering. Students will acquire knowledge and skills in safety,tool usage, building materials, codes, and framing. For safety andliability considerations, limiting course enrollment to 15 studentsis recommended. In Construction Technology I, students will gainknowledge and skills needed to enter the workforce as carpentersor building maintenance supervisors or to prepare for apostsecondary degree in construction management, architecture,or engineering. Students will acquire knowledge and skills insafety, tool usage, building materials, codes, and framing.
