Careers in audio and video technology and film production spanall aspects of the audio/video communications industry. Buildingupon the concepts taught in Audio/Video Production, in additionto developing advanced knowledge and skills needed for successin the Arts, Audio/Video Technology, and Communications CareerCluster, students will be expected to develop an advancedunderstanding of the industry with a focus on pre production,production, and postproduction products. Through diverse formsof storytelling and production, students will exercise and developcreativity, intellectual curiosity, and critical thinking,problem-solving, and collaborative skills. This course may beimplemented in an audio format or a format with both audio andvideo. Requiring a lab corequisite for the course affords necessarytime devoted specifically to the production and postproductionprocess. (Lincoln, Skyline, Seagoville)
