Digital Forensics will foster students' creativity and innovation bypresenting opportunities to investigate simulations and casestudies of crimes, reconstructing computer security incidents,troubleshooting operational problems and recovering fromaccidental system damage. Students will collaborate to developforensic techniques to assist with computer security incidentresponse. Students will learn methods to identify, collect,examine, and analyze data while preserving the integrity of theinformation and maintaining a strict chain of custody for data.Students will solve problems as they study the application ofscience to the law. Students will learn digital citizenship byresearching current laws and regulations and by practicingintegrity and respect. Students will gain an understanding ofcomputing and networking systems that transmit or storeelectronic data.
