Jackson-Reed High School – ST1 – Engineering I: Honors Intro to Engineering Design

This honors course is the first course in the Engineering pathway. This sequence of courses prepares students for a career in the engineering profession. This course uses the 'Project Lead The Way' curriculum and is focused on design techniques. The students use computer-aided design software, perform research and analysis, as they work in teams on problems with global and human impact. Students will learn problem-solving skills using a design development process.
