J. Harley Bonds Career Center – Production Engineering 3 and 4

In Production Engineering students will get hands-on experience turning ideas into real-world objects. This course bridges the gap between digital design and physical production. Students will learn to work from blueprints, sketches, and their own imagination using Audodesk Fusion, a leading software for CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing). Students will master the entire workflow: designing 3D model on the computer, preparing it for manufacturing, and then bringing it to life with state-of-the-art equipment including 3D printing, laser cutting/engraving, CNC machining, and traditional tools.
Prerequisites: Production Engineering 1 and 2
Grades: 10th-12th grade
