In this year-long, second year course, students will advance the yearbook journalism and computer skills they learned the first year. Their primary job remains to be the creation of the yearbook. The fundamentals of yearbook journalism are emphasized to a greater degree. Skills include creating aesthetically pleasing layouts, using enhancing graphics, and effective color use. Integral to the continuing student's role is developing and carrying out a theme that suits the school year. Additional responsibilities include planning the yearbook ladder, and leadership is an expected role for Yearbook 2 students. This can manifest in editorial positions and/or mentoring new staff members.
Prerequisites: Application required (IHS only). Successful completion of Yearbook.
