This course focuses on developing essential life skills for success in home, school, community, and vocational settings. Students learn practical strategies to enhance their independence, problem-solving abilities, and daily living skills through hands-on activities and real-world applications.
Prerequisites: Individualized Education Program (IEP) required; Case Manager recommendation; Resource students are assigned to classes on the basis of their own choices and with recommendations of resource teachers and parents. The IEP sets forth a plan of goals and objectives, which specifies accommodations and services necessary to meet the students’ needs.
