This semester-long course explores the complex interrelationships between society, the environment, and global systems. It addresses pressing questions such as "Why is the world the way it is?" and "Where do we go from here?" by focusing on contemporary global issues like environmentalism, climate change, sustainability, food production, immigration, and governance. Food serves as a lens through which students will understand globalization and sustainability, examining how everyday choices impact the world.
Prerequisites: Completion of Global Studies or Honors Global Studies is recommended, but not required.
