Concert Band is a year-long elective focused on the musical and technical development of students in brass and woodwind (and percussion – if no Percussion Ensemble class is offered) instruments. It includes extensive performance opportunities, requiring commitment to concerts, contests, festivals, and community events. Participation in marching and pep bands, as well as some before or after-school practices, is required.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of at least two years in school band or equivalent private instruction experience.
