Students will design and build projects in wood, metal, and other construction materials. Students can earn industry recognized certifications; OSHA10, Forklift Operator, 1st Aid/CPR/AED, and others. Equivalent credit is available in applied math and science. Modules expose students to a variety of jobs in the building trades and support them in determining how their personal skills and work style fit into the industry. Students will learn what steps to take to pursue specific construction careers. This course is primarily meant to serve senior students that are seeking for Construction Trades apprenticeships upon graduation. This course is part of a 3 hour block schedule (First Semester 1A, 1B, 1C and Second Semester 2A, 2B, 2C)
