The purpose of this course is to enable students to perform advanced work in the production of journalism across print, multimedia, web, and broadcast/radio platforms and to develop extended knowledge of journalism history, ethics use, and management techniques related to the production of journalistic media. School and professional publication efforts are expected.Honors and Advanced Level Course Note:Academic rigor is more than simply assigning to students a greater quantity of work. Through the application, analysis, evaluation, and creation of complex ideas that are often abstract and multi-faceted, students are challenged to think and collaborate critically on the content they are learning.
