90 Learn how films, music, games, and social media shape everyday life. Study and critique films while learning to think like filmmakers. Create media projects such as magazines and websites; learn camera angles, editing, color theory, and storytelling. Work in a group to plan a full feature, film the opening sequence, and keep an online production blog. Learn the steps of production and marketing techniques to share your work. Build skills in research, analysis, and production to prepare for media careers and join a global community making and analyzing media. This college course earns college credit and fulfills a humanities credit for the AICE diploma. Note: Anyone can take this course, however, if you are signing up for the courses as an incoming freshman, you must have a level 4 or 5 on the ELA FAST.
