High Point Central High – Honors Advanced Guitar

Building on skills and concepts built in previous classes, this course strives to reach an advanced level through individual repertoire development, level appropriate collaborative ensemble work and refinement of a multitude of performance skills. The students will experience in-depth studies of guitar pedagogy and compare different schools of teaching methods. Students may be expected to attend after school rehearsals and performances where participation is a required and graded portion of the course. An audition may be required.
