Hickory High – Collision Repair Technology (DCTC)

Two-year vocational program. Provides basic knowledge and skills necessary for repair and refinishing of modern automobiles. Covers sheet metal straightening, welding, fiberglass and plastic work, panel replacement, glass replacement, painting and refinishing, and damage appraisal. May earn up to 16 articulated credits through State Fair Community College.
Prerequisites: Cumulative GPA 2.50 or higher; minimum 95% attendance during sophomore year; no more than 2 ISS placements; must be in good credit standing and scheduled to graduate
