Heritage High School – Hospitality Services

In addition to classroom instruction, students will gain real-world experience by job shadowing during the year at a local hotel. Students will learn first-hand about the operations of a hotel by working with hotel professionals in the following departments: front desk, food $&$ beverage, maintenance, housekeeping and accounting. Hospitality Services students will have the opportunity to earn nationally recognized industry certification(s). This course will focus on employability skills, communications skills and professionalism. Students are encouraged to participate in DECA at the CTE Center and/or home-campus. Students must provide their own transportation to and from field sites.
