Heritage High School – AP Chinese IV

AP Chinese IV is designed to provide high school students with a learning experience equivalent to that of an introductory college course. Students will learn language structures in context and use them to convey meaning as well as explore Chinese culture in both contemporary and historical contexts. Students will be expected to demonstrate their knowledge of the target culture, incorporate interdisciplinary topics, make cultural comparisons, and actively communicate in a variety of settings and contexts. This course is held in the target language. Students are highly encouraged to take the Chinese Language and Culture Advanced Placement Exam for possible college credit at the conclusion of this course. This course will be held at each campus. The offering of this course is subject to confirmed student enrollment.
