Students are selected by director's recommendation. Offers smaller ensemble experience for instrumentalists in large band and orchestra. Each level enhances skills and provides opportunities to develop performance skills and knowledge in ensemble music. Emphasizes the performance style and literature of the instrumental chamber group medium. Includes brass, woodwind, percussion, and string ensembles. Covers performance and production, analysis and theoretical studies, creative aspects of music, historical and cultural influences, and music appreciation.
