Hardin Valley Academy – Sports Officiating

Sports Officiating is an elective course designed to be engaging and informative. It offers an inclusive and innovative point of view that incorporates the learner to be in a position to make the call on the court, field, mat, pitch, or track. The aim of this course is to help students develop leadership, time management and conflict resolution skills, and become immediately employable. Students will receive certification in at least one sport by the end of the semester. Physical Education I is not a prerequisite for this course. Can be taken for multiple credits. Class fee required unless a grant is received. Only available to Juniors and Seniors.
Prerequisites: Physical Education I is not a prerequisite for this course.
