# successfully completed AICE Thinking Skills prior to taking Global Perspectives. Through the study of global issues students will explore divergent and controversial perspectives. Emphasis is on analytic thinking and reasoning to draw sound conclusions. Students will develop skills in research to include the acquisition of credible information, the analysis of data, and the evaluation of the effectiveness and relevance of synthesized information in order to construct and communicate their own arguments. This course satisfies the AICE Diploma requirements for Global Perspectives & Research.
